Jun 18, 2017 · 3.6, 6 speed, regeared, and Limp Mode. As the title states, I just got a fresh regear by one of our local reputable shops here in SoCal. My jeep is now in limp mode. They did adjust accordingly to my AEV Procal. Since it's a 6speed, I was able to drive it home with no issues besides the ABS, and Traction indicator lit up. Driving on the highway for any amount of time my check engine and ESP lights come on and my jeep goes into limp mode. I get 2 codes shown in the pictures. It makes it difficult to shift by delaying my gas by a second and killing power (engine doesn't keep accelerating, i HAVE to shift) after i reach certain RPMs.S.
